More chalkboards on other places

If you still aren't sold on chalkboards from yesterday's post, I'm going to sell you some more points to try to change your minds about these. Start small when you want to add or redesign something. Baby steps always helps lessen the shock factor when thinking outside the box. A room needs that shock factor to transform it from the olden days into the modern 21st century. No matter how small you start, try integrating them with everyday objects and furniture you already use. They can be used in and on more places than you think.

Furniture is one of the essentials in your living space. Why not embellish them with something useful and convenient. Chalkboards can help enhance your daily life when combined with your furniture. Having them on dressers gives you an easy way to label each drawer without having to purchase stickers or other unwanted labels for them. In my opinion, those sticker labels are anything but cute no matter what size they are. Plus they bring a focal point to any room and can be a great conversation piece.

Another creative way to integrate chalkboards into your daily life is by having them on containers and cups. I have lots of containers without labels and after some time I forget what's in them and how long they've been there. By topping off one of these lids onto different containers would help that as well as keep pantries and refrigerators clean and organized.  Besides being a simple way to label, they'll bring amusement to your day. What better way to wake up than to a hot cup of your favorite beverage in a chalkboard mug. This will give you something to look forward to in the morning.

Another essential are tables. Have you seen kids draw on tabletops? They try their best to draw on the paper, yet they still manage to get marks all over the table. An alternate to this would be chalkboard tables. Kids can draw freely on them and not have to worry about staying within their limit. This also applies to adults. I've drawn many pictures that have gone beyond my paper limit. Not only did I end up with marks on my table, I had unfinished drawings. Let's just say, I'm not too happy when this happens. By adding this with your morning mug, you'll be all set to let your imagination run wild and start your day. If you still aren't sold on chalkboards in your living space, open your minds and welcome to the modern day and age!
